Miss Gubby Ayida

Miss Gubby Ayida is an experienced and highly respected consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in London. Privately, she treats patients at The Kensington Wing, part of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, her NHS base. Miss Ayida is skilled in all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology and her areas of expertise include high-risk or multiple pregnancies, women's health, and specialist gynaecology services. 

Miss Ayida graduated in 1982 from Oxford University with a bachelor's in medicine and in 1985 from St Thomas's Hospital Medical School with a doctor of medicine. She completed her higher training in various esteemed academic teaching hospitals. She went on to earn her postgraduate doctorate from the University of Oxford for her research into the applications of imaging to fertility investigation. 

Since 2001, Miss Ayida has held a position as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Chelsea and Westminister Hospital. From 2014 to 2016, she was the hospital's divisional medical director. Additionally, she founded the Women's Wellness Centre in London, dedicated to providing women care in all aspects of women's health and wellbeing. Here she is the clinical director, responsible for maintaining a high quality of care and managing the team. Thanks to her passion for the empowerment of women through education and highlighting challenges facing women in the workplace, she often speaks at schools and colleges.
