Dr Achim Schwenk is a leading consultant in HIV, along with being the deputy medical director at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. He is well-known for his research into HIV and developed the Climate-HIV computer program, which helps doctors manage HIV patients complex prescriptions and care.
Initially studying and carrying out research at the University of Cologne, Dr Schwenk then moved to the UK to carry out research initially at St George's, University of London and then at North Middlesex University Hospital.
Dr Schwenk has published numerous research papers, along with providing education to peers in his field, and has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals.
