Mr Asit Arora is an award-winning and leading ENT, Airway, Head & Neck consultant surgeon based in Central London with over 20 years of experience. Whilst Mr Arora provides care for all general aspects of adult and paediatric ENT diseases, his main areas of expertise include minimally-invasive head and neck surgery, head and neck cancer, transoral robotic surgery (TORS), thyroid disorders and sleep apnoea.
After graduating in 1998 from the University of Manchester, Mr Arora gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2003 and became a fellow in 2015. He has further distinguished his experience by taking on two head and neck fellowships, one in Hamburg, Germany and another at St George's Hospital, London. Furthermore, Mr Arora is thought of as the pioneer for head and neck robotic surgery in the UK and even established the first training program for transoral robotic surgery.
He currently practices at several prestigious hospitals in London, including Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London Bridge Hospital, the Princess Grace Hospital and The Lister Hospital. Mr Arora was the pioneer of transoral robotic surgery (TORS) in the UK and established the TORS training programme, one of seven postgraduate courses he is founder or director of. Mr Arora is committed to providing field-leading care and treatment for his patients.
In addition to his very busy clinical commitments, Mr Arora is widely published, active in research and education, and continues to present nationally and internationally. He has earned global recognition for his contribution to improvements in health care quality by developing the Global Tracheostomy Collaborative, a worldwide network of premium health care facilities.
