Dr Catherine Mathews is a highly experienced consultant rheumatologist located in South East London, with expertise in diagnosing and treating a full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions in both adults and children. She also provides treatment for a wide range of areas, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis and gout.
Graduating from Cambridge University in 1995, Dr Mathews completed her specialist rheumatology training in London and has been practicing as a consultant since 2006. She currently serves as the head of the Rheumatology Department and collaborates closely with other medical specialists, enabling her to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to patients. Her work includes a clinical partnership with the Evelina Children’s Hospital, where she treats young patients with a variety of conditions, from hypermobility to complex arthritis.
