Mr Damian Lake is a renowned consultant ophthalmologist and a corneal and refractive surgeon, currently practising at Tunbridge Wells Eye Centre in Kent. He is accredited in all aspects of eye care, with a special interest in corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and the reconstruction of damaged eyes, principally laser vision correction, LASIK, cornea transplant and dry eye.
After graduating from The University of Glasgow in 1997, Mr Lake completed specialist ophthalmic surgical training in London. He then undertook two prestigious corneal fellowships at Moorfields Hospital and The Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.
Beyond his practice, Mr Lake lectures both nationally and internationally on his areas of expertise. He is a fellow of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmologists, the United Kingdom and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and The Cornea Society.
