Dr David Lipkin is an esteemed consultant cardiologist that consults in many prominent hospitals in London on a wide range of cardiac conditions such as coronary heart disease, angina, heart failure, complex coronary angioplasty, and coronary artery disease to mention a few.
A gold-medalist student at Leeds University, he then went on to be a fellow at the prestigious Royal College of Physicians. Further training from both Heart Hospital of University College and Hammersmith Hospital in London earned him the post as catheter lab director at the Royal Free Hospital, where he still works as a senior lecturer and honorary consultant cardiologist.
Dr Lipkin is also the co-director of the CT Coronary Angiography Unit and the Clinical Institute and Research Centre at the Wellington Hospital. He has taken a keen interest in Ischaemic heart disease, coronary artery disease, and valvular heart disease. He has contributed to major cardiology textbooks and published a multitude of notable research papers in adult cardiology including a book on Coronary Care through Oxford University Press.
