Dylan Walsh is a leading HCPC registered physiotherapist based in London, who specialises in orthopaedic manual physical therapy, sports physiotherapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy alongside massage therapy, muscle tension and movement disorders. He privately practises at the Opus Biological clinic at King Edward VII’s Hospital and his NHS base is the Royal Free Hospital, London.
Dylan has significant experience in strength and conditioning and his evidence-based approach utilises a combination of functional rehabilitation, manual therapy, and activity-specific tailored programmes.
He is committed to providing the highest quality of care for his patients, and his philosophy is to enable people of all ages to participate in exercise for longevity and quality of life.
Dylan previously worked at the National Indoor Athletics Centre, Wales where he was a sports injury and rehabilitation specialist as a member of the Wales Triathlon medical team. He also was a strength and conditioning coach for youth athletes in tennis, football, rugby and athletics, where he focussed on optimising movement patterns for sporting development.
This experience has allowed him to offer individualised running gait analysis for those returning to activity following injury. He has also volunteered for Stroke Association UK where he provided neurorehabilitation for men and women following a stroke, the London Marathon 2021 as a volunteer roadside physiotherapist for participants and he provided pre and post-physiotherapy treatment for those competing in the Queen Elizabeth Park Velodrome Challenge for the Great Ormond Street Hospital charity.
