Mr Enyi Ofo is a leading consultant ENT and head and neck surgeon based in London. His areas of expertise include head and neck surgery, salivary gland disease, voice and swallowing disorders, thyroid surgery, and parathyroid surgery, as well as general ENT conditions.
Mr Ofo consults privately at New Victoria Hospital, treating both adult and paediatric patients. Additionally, he also holds a consultant position at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and notably led the surgical team that performed the first robotic head and neck cancer operation in April 2015.
Mr Ofo qualified from University College London with both an MBBS and an intercalated BSc in Neuroscience. He also holds a PhD from King’s College London, and furthered his training with the esteemed MRCS and DOHNS qualifications from The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mr Ofo obtained his FRCS(ORL-HNS) in 2012, specialising in otorhinolaryngology, head, and neck surgery.
As a leading figure in his speciality, Mr Ofo went on to complete an advanced fellowship in head and neck and robotic surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, along with a head and neck surgery fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He undertook his higher speciality training in ENT and head and neck surgery at some of London’s most prestigious institutions, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
Mr Ofo's research has been showcased at both national and international medical conferences and has led to multiple journal publications.
