Dr Eve Hepburn is a leading consultant psychologist based in Essex. Her areas of expertise include psychological assessments, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, cognitive analytic therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behaviour therapy, and Schema therapy. She consults privately at the Atrom Mindcare Holistic Psychiatric Clinic.
Dr Hepburn has dedicated more than 20 years to supporting her patients in improving their mental health, using comprehensive, tailored, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help manage complex thoughts, emotions, and processes. In her clinical approach, she prioritises person-centred care and believes in finding the right tools and skills to reflect and enable change.
As a specialist, Dr Hepburn has served as the lead Consultant Forensic Psychologist at Essex Secure Services and Specialist Rehabilitation Division at St Andrew’s Healthcare to develop clinical pathways and support trauma-informed practices. Here, she also worked as the Acting Principal Psychologist at London Transforming Rehabilitation. Additionally, she has been an associate psychologist with Forensic Psychological Services since 2018 and also serves with the Social Interest Group.
Dr Hepburn earned her Doctor of Forensic Psychology from the University of Nottingham. Prior to this, she completed an MSc in Forensic Psychology at Middlesex University and a Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Studies in Psychology at Nottingham Trent University. Her foundational education includes a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology from the University of East Anglia.
