Dr Hazim Taki is highly respected general practitioner in Surrey. He specialises in child health, mental health and gastrointestinal medicine. He is also expert in the management of cardiac and respiratory conditions, men’s health and travel vaccinations.
Dr Taki qualified in medicine from the University of Baghdad in 1989 and worked as a general practitioner in Iraq for several years before relocating to the UK. He held positions in paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology departments of various hospitals including Birmingham’s Good Hope Hospital and the Conquest Hospital in Hastings. During this period, he obtained diplomas from both the Faculty of Family Planning and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He has held the position of general practitioner since 2001 and has been principal general practitioner at Thorkhill Surgery since 2004.
Dr Taki has held a number of teaching responsibilities throughout his career and has been a clinical tutor for trainees from St. George’s Medical School since 2008.
