Mr John Parkin is a distinguished consultant urologist and prostate specialist who graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1994. His private practise is at The Harborne Hospital.
Mr Parkin honed his surgical skills through training in Scarborough, Bristol, and New Zealand, followed by six years as a specialist registrar in urology across the West Midlands, including at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
During this time, he gained extensive experience in general urology, endourology, and laparoscopy. In 2005, Mr Parkin was elected as a junior representative on the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) committee for endourology.
With a keen focus on laparoscopic surgery and the management of urological cancers, Mr Parkin has made significant contributions to research and literature, particularly concerning laparoscopic techniques in urology.
