Dr Jonathan Potts is a Consultant Hepatologist specializing in pancreatobiliary medicine and liver transplantation. He graduated from King’s College London in 2004 and completed general medical and gastroenterology training in the South Thames deanery, with specialist hepatology rotations at King’s College Hospital and the Royal Free. He earned a PhD in 2014 for research on alcohol-related liver disease.
After obtaining accreditation in gastroenterology and liver sub-specialties in 2016, Dr Potts undertook fellowships in pancreatobiliary medicine. In 2018, he was appointed Transplant Hepatologist and Pancreatobiliary Endoscopist at the Royal Free Liver Unit, performing procedures such as ERCP, cholangioscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
