Mr Joseph Windley is a distinguished consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in London. His areas of expertise include hip replacement, knee relacement, knee arthroscopy for meniscal pathology, hip tendinopathies and trochanteric bursitis.

Mr Windley qualified in MBBS from Imperial College School of Medicine at St Mary’s Hospital. He pursued his specialist orthopaedic training through the North West Thames Rotation in London, which encompassed major trauma centres like St Mary’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, West Middlesex University Hospital, Croydon University Hospital, and Kingston Hospital. He then completed his arthroplasty fellowship at the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Afterward, he was appointed as a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon. His dedication to continuous learning is evident from his participation in numerous advanced training courses and fellowships, particularly in arthroplasty. Mr Windley has, thus far in his medical career, accumulated a wealth of experience in managing orthopaedic conditions. 

Mr Windley has held prominent positions in various esteemed medical institutions, where he has treated a diverse patient population. His clinical expertise also encompasses the treatment of hip fractures, elective lower limb joint replacements, and trauma surgery. Mr Windley has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented his findings at national and international conferences. His research interests include advancements in joint replacement techniques, outcomes of arthroplasty procedures, and the development of innovative therapies for joint preservation. Through his research, Mr. Windley aims to enhance the understanding of orthopaedic pathologies and improve surgical outcomes for patients worldwide.
