Mr Joydeep Sinha is a consultant orthopaedic shoulder and elbow surgeon based in London. He specialises in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, sports injuries and shoulder instability and dislocation alongside rotator cuff shoulder repair and shoulder replacement. Mr Sinha privately practices at the London Bridge Orthopaedics clinic at London Bridge Hospital, 31 Old Broad Street Diagnostic and Treatment Centre and King's Private at King's College Hospital. He has also been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at King's College Hospital (KCH) for 25 years.
He is a respected name in the field of orthopaedics, collaborating to develop the Upper Limb unit at KCH into the internationally renowned service it is today. He is currently the clinical director of surgery and joint clinical advice group leader for trauma and orthopaedics there, too.
After graduating from the University of Manchester in 1985 with an MD, Mr Sinha underwent surgical SHO training at the Hammersmith Hospital and St Bartholemew's Hospital in London and completed his orthopaedic training on the prestigous King's College Hospital and South East Thames orthopaedic rotations. He also gained experience, specifically specialist training in trauma, shoulder, elbow and hand surgery, via awarded fellowships in New York and Seattle in the United States of America and the dedicated orthopaedic centre, Wrightington Hospital in Wrightington near Wigan.
Mr Sinha is an active member of various medical associations including the British Medical Association (BMA), British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS). Furthermore, he is also a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). He has had his research published in top peer-reviewed journals and has lectured nationally and internationally on his specialist areas of interest including upper limb trauma, aspects of shoulder keyhole surgery and shoulder replacement.

Dr Sinha is very professional in a kindly manner. Very happy to give a more detailed explanation when needed. There was an issue with internet connectivity due to weather conditions which caused a small delay in tests but the staff and Dr Sinha handled this with all due care
