Mr Kevin Sean O’Neill is a consultant neurosurgeon in prominent clinics across London. He is nationally and internationally renowned for his knowledge and precision in numerous areas of his field, including brain tumour surgery, spinal surgery, neuro-oncology and peripheral nerve surgery.
Mr O’Neill is one of London’s most reputable neurosurgeons. Extensive training and decades of professional experience have led to him becoming the Head of Neurosurgery at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the largest NHS trusts in England. He is also an honorary senior lecturer at the Division of Clinical Neuroscience for the college. Patients can access his private services at the well-known clinics of Cleveland Clinic London and Charing Cross Hospital. Spinal surgery and peripheral nerve surgery account for many of his elective procedures.
He has also made remarkable contributions to clinical research. In 2004, Mr O’Neill co-founded the Brain Tumour Research Campaign charity to seed fund a research program that has since been awarded as a PI Centre of Excellence. Throughout his training and professional career, he has produced numerous research papers. His research includes investigations into neuro-protection and brain tumour invasion, as well as spinal cord and peripheral nerve regeneration. Above all, his research aims to develop new technologies and treatments.
Additionally, he plays an important role in various professional bodies. This includes the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), the British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) and the British Neurosurgical Research Group (BNRG).

This neurosurgeon I believe is very different in approach from other consultants I have experienced.He professes to be a holistic neurosurgeon and indeed he is. His interactive encompassing approach enables you to feel fully involved in your treatment , a factor that I value highly when undergoing any kind of treatment. He is extremely thorough ,open and highly skilled: a factor made apparent by the plethera of articles he has published over the years.
Couldnt recommend this Neurosurgeon more highly. One of the greats.
