Dr Lalita Banerjee is a renowned consultant haematologist based in Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks. With over 25 years of experience, Dr Banerjee is highly experienced in a wide range of conditions, with her areas of expertise including anaemia, cytopenia, coagulation disorders, lymphoma, myelodysplasia and leukaemia.
Dr Banerjee qualified with an MBBS from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, before going to receive her MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians and FRCPath from the Royal College of Pathologists.
Dr Banerjee currently practises at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone, GenesisCare Maidstone, Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the Sevenoaks Medical Centre. She manages conditions across all aspects of haematology, including haematological oncology, deep vein thrombosis, warfarin therapy, bone marrow transplants and stem cell transplantation. She is the clinical lead for plasma cell dyscrasias, and holds a fortnightly specialist clinic at King's College Hospital.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Banerjee has published numerous medical articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. She is also involved in the teaching and training of junior doctors.
