Dr Marcus Harbord is a leading consultant gastroenterologist based across London at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Cromwell Hospital. 

Dr Harbord was appointed as a consultant physician and gastroenterologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2006, and has been the lead clinician since 2007, specialising in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colonoscopy as well as nutrition, indigestion, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). 

Dr Harbord has published widely in peer-reviewed publications on irritable bowel disease, among other areas of gastroenterology, and is involved in a number of groups and committees, such as the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation (ECCO), and the Editorial Board of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease journal between 2006 and 2017.
