Mr Michael Dinneen is a leading senior consultant urological surgeon based in London who is internationally renowned in the diagnosis and surgical management of benign and precancerous skin conditions of the penis. He also specialises in urinary tract stone disease, urinary tract infections and the management of benign and malignant disease of the prostate, including prostatitis. He privately practices at the Chelsea Outpatient Centre.
Mr Dinneen is highly qualified, with a MB BCh from the National University of Ireland, an FRCSI and FRCSI (Urol) from the Royal College of Surgeons, as well as an MD.
Mr Dinneen is a respected name in urology, and was recently awarded honorary life membership of the Irish Society of Urology in recognition of his distinguished services to this area of medicine. He is also the past president of the Section of Urology at the Royal Society of Medicine.
He is a reviewer for several urological journals, and has had his work featured in many of them, while he is also a clinical and educational supervisor for the Faculty of Surgery at Imperial College London. Here he is also an examiner for the world-class university.
