Stapedectomy with laser video See more
This video shows me performing a Stapedectomy operation on a patients right ear and using a laser during the procedure. The operation is to treat Otosclerosis. Patients have a conductive hearing loss. The operation is sometimes called a Stapedotomy. It is performed down the ear canal using a microscope. The operation takes about 45 minutes and has a very good success rate.
