Professor Mohamed Zeinah is a leading consultant cardiothoracic surgeon based in Liverpool. His areas of expertise include mitral valve repair, coronary surgery, and the management of atrial fibrillation. Additionally, he is highly proficient in heart valve surgery, minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, and the use of advanced techniques like off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery and total arterial revascularisation

Professor Zeinah consults privately at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He originally qualified with an MBBCh from Ain Shams University and was also awarded an MD from the same institution for his clinical research in electrocautery maze for the treatment of chronic atrial fibrillation. Subsequently, he went on to obtain an MSc degree and a Cardiothoracic Surgery CCT from Oxford University Hospitals.

Notably, Professor Zeinah holds esteemed fellowships to both the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic Surgery and to the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery. As part of his extensive training, he also undertook prestigious fellowships in cardiothoracic surgery at Southampton Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital, Freeman Hospital, Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, and John Radcliffe Hospital.
