Dr Munir Ahmed is a distinguished consultant in general paediatrics and paediatric nephrology with decades of experience specialising in child health and children bladder and kidney disorders. His extensive expertise encompasses a broad range of paediatric conditions including general paediatrics, neonatal problems and foetal kidney problems.
He practises privately at House of Health. He has a CCT from the London Deanery and he trained at prestigious hospitals including Guy’s Hospital and King's College Hospital London. He did his post CCT training in the Nephrology Department of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He has worked across various healthcare settings, from busy university hospitals to outreach clinics, honing his skills in managing both common and complex childhood illnesses. His areas of expertise include kidney and bladder problems, common gastrointestinal problems, lumps and bumps, skin rashes, headaches, growth issues and neonatal issues.
Dr Ahmed has a particular interest in structural kidney problems and can provide a one-stop clinic management of common kidney and bladder problems with the help of a Point of Care Ultrasound. He has a keen interest in following up babies born with kidney problems and can manage and provide guidance to parents, both during pregnancy and after birth. He uses a POCUS to monitor and manage both kidney and bladder problems.
