Mr Nashat Siddiqui is a prominent London-based orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in upper limb surgery such as to the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist. Mr Siddiqui graduated from St Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1999, subsequently completing his general surgical training in the London region. He then pursued specialist orthopaedic training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore rotation.
Mr Siddiqui further honed his expertise in upper limb surgery through three specialist surgical fellowships. He spent a year at the renowned Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Australia and gained additional experience at two leading upper limb specialty units in the UK: the Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol and University Hospital Coventry.
Since 2013, Mr Siddiqui has been a consultant at Kingston Hospital, with a particular interest in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery for conditions previously treated with open surgery, such as elbow arthritis. He also specialises in hand conditions, including severe Dupuytren's contractures, arthritis, and nerve entrapment. He currently privately practises at New Victoria Hospital.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Siddiqui is a reviewer for, and has published extensively in, major orthopaedic journals. His research interests include tennis/golfer’s elbow, elbow and shoulder replacements, arthroscopy, and hand deformities. He has chaired international orthopaedic meetings and is actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons and medical students.
