Professor Paul Durrington is an NHS Consultant Physician at Manchester Royal Infirmary and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Manchester, where he has worked since 1976. Professor Durrington has a lifelong research interest in lipid roteins, insulin resistance and diabetes, and is the author of over 400 publications. He is a former Chairman of the British Hyperlipidaemia Association and Director of Research and Development to Central Manchester Healthcare Trust.
