Professor Peter J Goadsby specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders, which include migraines, cluster headaches and other forms of chronic daily headaches. He obtained his basic medical degree at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Professor Peter Goadsby was a professor of clinical neurology and an honorary consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. He is the Professor of Neurology at Kings College, London and remains an honorary consultant neurologist at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. He is also a member of the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, USA.
Professor Peter J Goadsby is currently the Chair of the British Association for the Study of Headache. His clinical and research interests are in understanding headache disorders through their diagnosis and treatment.
