Ms Sala Abdalla

Ms Sala Abdalla is a distinguished consultant general and upper gastrointestinal (GI) surgeon who specialises in hiatal hernia surgery, abdominal pain, gallbladder surgery, laparoscopic hernia surgery, laparoscopy, and acid reflux. She currently practises at the New Victoria Hospital. 

Ms Abdalla pursued her medical education with a focus on general and upper GI surgery, honing her skills through rigorous training programmes after successfully completing her BSc in physiological sciences at the Imperial College in 2006. Following this, she would go on to obtain a MBBS at said university two years later. 

Ms Abdalla's surgical repertoire includes procedures for conditions such as gallbladder disease, hernias, gastric cancer, and oesophageal disorders. Ms Abdalla's proficiency in minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, has significantly improved patient outcomes, reducing recovery times and minimising postoperative complications.
