Dr Simon Fynn

Dr Simon Fynn is a consultant cardiologist with more than 20 years of experience. He is based in Ipswich at the Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital and at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. Dr Fynn is experienced in many aspects of his field, however, he is an expert in treating cardiac arrhythmias, catheter ablation and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. In fact, Dr Fynn performs more than 200 catheter ablations every year. 

Dr Fynn's medical career has not been reserved to the UK but has taken him overseas, and he spent two years from 2002 at the world's leading centre for cardiac electrophysiology in Australia at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Another of Dr Fynn's passions within cardiology is atrial fibrillation which led him receiving his MD in this topic from the University of Cambridge in 2004. Since then, Dr Fynn has published numerous times on this area of expertise, and he has lectured frequently on arrhythmias and ECG scans.
