Dr Simon Kennon is a consultant cardiologist in London specialising in aortic stenosis, coronary heart disease and angiography, as well as coronary angioplasty, interventional cardiology and coronary stent implantation. He consults privately at Cleveland Clinic London Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Portland Place Outpatient Centre, while his NHS practice is based at Barts Health NHS Trust, including the Barts Heart Centre.
Dr Kennon graduated from the University of Manchester in 1992 and was appointed as a consultant cardiologist in 2005. He is both a general and interventional cardiologist with extensive experience in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), MitraClip procedures, and coronary interventions. His research interests include exploring innovative transcatheter treatments for tricuspid and mitral valve conditions, including for patients with carcinoid syndrome.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Kennon is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS) and the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS).
