Dr Siva Mahendran is a distinguished consultant physician specialising in respiratory and internal medicine. He currently practises at the New Victoria Hospital and specialises in asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic cough, shortness of breath, breathing problems, and sarcoidosis.
Since 2017, he has also served at kingston hospital, where he leads in the management of pleural disorders, asthma, and respiratory research. As the trust chair for respiratory medicine management, Dr Mahendran has spearheaded numerous initiatives to enhance patient safety and improve healthcare services. He earned his medical degree from University College London Medical Schools and has been on the specialist register since 2017.
His extensive training in respiratory medicine took place at premier London hospitals, including the Royal Brompton, Guys and St Thomas', and Kings College Hospitals. He notably holds a PhD in respiratory immunology, which he obtained from King’s College London, reflecting his deep commitment to both scientific and clinical research.
