Dr Sumit Gulati is a leading consultant in pain medicine and anaesthesia based in and around Liverpool. His areas of expertise lie in radiofrequency denervation and neuromodulation, and the treatment of complex spinal and cervical pain, joint pain, neuropathic pain and male pelvic pain.
Dr Gulati trained in India where he graduated in 1999. He then moved to the UK to carry out post-graduate training in Manchester and Leeds. He subsequently completed his fellowship at University College London and has since worked as a specialist in spinal and neuroscience centres across London, Leeds and Liverpool.
Dr Gulati is currently operating privately at three locations: The Spire Liverpool Hospital, Sefton Suite and Spire Murrayfield Hospital.
In addition to his consultancy work, he has held workshops for interventional pain and ultrasound-guided blocks in the UK and internationally over the last ten years. He also organises courses at the Royal College of Anaesthesia and ESA.
