Dr Sunil Hirani is a specialist orthodontist in Milton Keynes who has a particular interest in hypodontia, invisible (lingual) orthodontics and pre-prosthodontic orthodontics for crown, bridge, veneer and implant preparation. Dr Hirani works alongside both adults and children.
Dr Hirani graduated from Guy’s Hospital London in 1996. He has a Masters degree in orthodontics and is a fellow of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS). He has held a membership in orthodontics from the RCS since 2003. Dr Hirani passed his exit fellowship, which is a marker of consultant approved training in 2005. In 2006 he attained his Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (GCAP) from King's College London.
In 2018, Dr Hirani became an active member of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO) by examination. As of 2018, there are 175 orthodontists around the world who have ever achieved this.
In 2019, Dr Hirani became an accredited member of the World Society of Lingual Orthodontics (WSLO). He is the 2nd person in the UK to achieve this prestigious qualification Dr Hirani has published articles in leading orthodontic journals.
He has trained, lectured and presented research to other dentists and orthodontists in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA.
