Mr Valerio Celentano

Mr Valerio Celentano is a highly skilled consultant colorectal surgeon based in London who specialises in the surgical treatment and management of colorectal cancer, deep infiltrating endometriosis and inflammatory bowel disease, including recurrent Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Mr Celentano currently sees patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he is also the colorectal lead and an integral member of the multidisciplinary team for endometriosis and colorectal cancer.

Mr Celentano originally qualified in Naples, Italy, completing his medical degree and further postgraduate surgical training. He then accomplished a colorectal surgery fellowship at several renowned LAPCO training units in the UK, as well as in France and the United States, before becoming a consultant surgeon in 2012. Mr Celentano later became one of the youngest surgeons to become a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, at the age of 31.
