I am someone who is not the biggest fan of the NHS and some NHS Doctors that I have come across after having a torrid time over the last six years with my care and treatment. However, Dr Giulio Garaffa is completely different and is a breath of fresh air both privately and in the NHS. I first went to see Dr Garaffa in December 2019, and after five years of not getting anywhere at hospitals such as Queen’s Hospital and UCLH I asked my GP to refer me to Dr Garaffa Whittington Hospital. After my appointment with Dr Garaffa at Whittington Hospital I felt listened to, understood, supported and that there was a plan. Not only is Dr Garaffa a specialist and expert in his field. He is caring, compassionate and wants to help you. He is without doubt the best Doctor that I have ever seen in any speciality, and this is why I asked to be referred to him again. Jason Everett

Brilliant doctor. Lovely sense of humour and demeanour, whilst still being very thorough and conveying knowledge in a clear, insightful way. Next steps in terms of my care were conveyed very well, and was managed to be seen slightly earlier than scheduled which was great.
