Professor Nouraei obtained double qualifications in medicine and sensorimotor neurophysiology at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University in 2002 before moving to London, where he undertook his basic surgical training on the Hammersmith rotation. He then completed the NHS specialist registrar in academic otolaryngology, with rotations at Charing Cross Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, and later obtained an MRCS and a diploma in otolaryngology from The Royal College of Surgeons (RCS). Professor Nouraei became a fellow of The RCS in 2007 before going on to accomplish a prestigious post CCT fellowship in laryngology and airway surgery in Auckland, New Zealand.

Besides his high-quality laryngology practice, Professor Nouraei is a notable figure in laryngology and surgical peer-reviewed research. He has authored more than 100 publications throughout his career and has co-edited two reference textbooks for clinicians and students as well. Professor Nouraei is the Outcomes Evaluation Lead for the national GIRFT programme and is also a member of the European Laryngological Society’s Committee on Laryngotracheal Stenosis.

Mr Stebbing started his medical journey at St John’s College, Cambridge, and Guy’s Hospital in London, graduating with distinction in surgery in 1987. He began his surgical career as a senior house office in Guildford, and his training took him through various locations, including the South West Thames Region, Oxford, Gloucester, and Bristol. From 1994-6 he was a Medical Research Council Clinical Training Fellow in Oxford pursuing a period of research which led to him being appointed as Hunterian Professor at the Royal College of Surgeons and being awarded the John of Arderne Medal by the Royal Society of Medicine.
In 1999, he became a consultant surgeon in Guildford and has enjoyed a fulfilling career to date, balancing clinical responsibilities with roles in training, education, and clinical management.
 
A particular focus has been on bowel cancer screening and endoscopy quality. From 2011 to 2017, he chaired the Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy, overseeing accreditation for endoscopy services across the UK and supporting future endoscopists' training.
 
In his current practice, Mr Stebbing serves as the Chief of Service of the Division of Surgery at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. Regional roles include being Clinical Director of the Surrey Bowel Cancer Screening Centre and Professional Clinical Advisor to the screening quality assurance service in the South of England. Nationally, he is Chair of the Bowel Screening Clinical Advisory Committee and a member of the Early Detection and Screening Task & Finish Group (NHSE).   Additionally, he has recently demitted having served for seven years as a Trustee of Bowel Cancer UK, emphasising his commitment to advancing colorectal care at various levels.

Mr Paul Skinner is a highly experienced consultant general and colorectal surgeon based in Sheffield. He specialises in the treatment of anorectal conditions such as colorectal and abdominal wall hernia, as well as anal cancer and bowel cancer. Mr Skinner was awarded his medical degree in 1988 from the University of Sheffield. He remained in the region to complete further training and from 1995 onwards went on to specialise in general surgery and eventually colorectal surgery. As part of his subspecialist training, Mr Skinner undertook a six month position at St Mark’s Hospital, London, a centre renowned for its expertise in colorectal diseases. He currently works as a consultant general and colorectal surgeon and sees patients in private practice at BMI Thornbury Hospital. He is a surgical member of the Neuroedocrine and Sarcoma Multi-Disciplinary Team, a specialist group of experts with an interest in the diagnosis, treatment and management of neuroendocrine cancers (those relating to the nervous system and hormone glands).  

Mr Skinner teaches and trains student doctors and trainee surgeons as part of his work at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He has produced various academic works related to colorectal conditions and their treatment. Additionally, he was nominated for a Healthcare Hero award in 2017 for his excellent treatment of a patient diagnosed with both bowel cancer and a kidney tumour.

She has performed well over 5,000 procedures to date.

She qualified in medicine from the esteemed University of Cambridge and then Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals in London. After completing her MRCP, she trained in ophthalmology at the Western Eye Hospital rotation, London, and then in the Cambridge and East of England region including two years at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. She is highly trained and experienced in oculoplastic surgery, having undergone postgraduate oculoplastic fellowships at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and has had further postgraduate oculoplastic surgical training at the corneoplastic unit at East Grinstead.

She has been lead consultant for oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgeries in frimley health foundation trust since 2016. She is a UK principal investigator for several international randomised control trials for novel therapies for thyroid eye disease. She is the research lead for oculoplastics. She has a strong interest in teaching and training, and runs courses and lectures to develop senior doctors in training. She is an honorary lecturer for UCL and is invited to lecture regularly at Moorfields Eye Hospital. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and regularly examines national ophthalmology doctors for their final FRCOphth examinations, prior to applying for consultant posts.

Mr Latimer graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Engineering Economics and Management before studying medicine. He performed engineering research for both ICI and Monsanto as an intern before going on to complete a fourth year Masters in Engineering at Oxford.

Mr Latimer subsequently studied Pre-Clinical Medicine at Oxford University and Clinical Medicine at Cambridge University. He was awarded his MBBChir degree in December 1997.

He joined the East Anglian orthopaedic rotation in 2002, which included two years of dedicated lower limb surgery in Cambridge. Mr Latimer passed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) exam in 2007 and was selected for the prestigious Ingham fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery in Sydney. 

During his fellowship in Sydney, Mr Latimer trained in all aspects of children’s orthopaedic and trauma surgery. He also had the opportunity to work in the Kerry Packer Research Institute with Professor David Little.

Mr Latimer has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Leicester University and a medical examiner at Cambridge University. He teaches regularly at Cambridge University.

Furthermore, she is committed to research. As part of her master’s degree, she looked at how dermatology training in teledermatology can be effectively delivered. She has also been the principal investigator in a large research project looking at co-existing skin cancers in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, which was published in an international journal in 2021. She is currently actively involved in the research dermatology team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and is the co-investigator in a large placebo-controlled study. 
 
Dr Fisher is dedicated to delivering a world-class standard of care to her patients, ensuring that they feel relaxed and comfortable during the whole treatment process. She is extremely thorough and spends time ensuring patients are fully informed and involved in treatment decisions. She treats both adults and children.

Throughout this timeframe, he held a position as a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow at The University of Birmingham, successfully completing his PhD focused on liver ischaemia-reperfusion injury in the year 2011.

Following this, he held an NIHR clinical lectureship at the centre for liver research, also at The University of Birmingham. His research gained recognition through several esteemed awards, including The Syme Medal from The Royal College of Surgeons. During this time, Mr Bhogal was also supported by funding from the Academy of Medical Sciences.

After achieving his certificate of training completion, he embarked on a 2-year senior fellowship in HPB at the liver unit in Birmingham, placing extra focus on surgical oncology and techniques involving minimal access surgery. He continued his research efforts during this time, securing funding through peer review. He also took advantage of learning experiences at reputable institutions such as The University of Heidelberg in Germany and The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA.

Currently, he maintains his research pursuits at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and the National Institute for Health and Care Research Biomedical Research Centre at The Royal Marsden and ICR. Within this role, he is a faculty member and co-leads the Upper GI Surgical Oncology research group. He has authored over 90 peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters up to this point

Dr Chowdhury currently serves as a sarcoma expert on the tumour radiology board at the World Health Organisation and as an NHS consultant at Oxford University Hospitals. With a postgraduate certificate in medical education, he is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Oxford and a prominent figure in clinical research. He holds membership to the Royal College of Surgeons and fellowship to the Royal College of Radiologists.

Previously, Dr Chowdhury chaired the young professionals and trainees committee at The British Institute of Radiology and was also the elected vice president of the trainee division at the British Society of Interventional Radiology.
