5 Saw this lovely doctor at Hillindgon Hospital when I had to have my gynaecology appointment for five weeks and I had to say I felt very very easy. I was nervous and I felt very at ease L. H

5 I have a significant weight problem and had avoided help because I believed that because of this I would be judged and surgery would be refused. Mr Houlihan Burne was understanding and helped me feel reassured and valued regardless of my weight; in fact he did not mention it! Having a compassionate non judgemental surgeon was such a relief. He supported me without placing blame and reassured me after I asked that my weight would not impact my recovery. I felt that he respected me as a patient and understands that everyone deserves quality care, no matter their size. I am almost 3 weeks post surgery after a partial knee replacement and believe I have made great progress. I am able to walk without crutches and am back top walking my dogs and driving. The area around my knee is still sensitive but this is to be expected and the wound is healing well. If anyone reading this is hesitant to seek help for similar reasons I strongly recommend that you approach Mr HB for help. R. M

5 David Houlihan-Burne is an Outstanding surgeon. The procedure was conducted speedily in the profressional and well appointed Fortius clinic. My recovery has been swift with minimal pain given the nature of the operation. To be highly recommended. H. W

5 Excellent professional and personalised care delivered by Mr Houlihan-Burne and staff at the Fortius Clinic. Dropping off and collecting from the clinic is slightly challenging and getting through on the phone isn't always easy. J. M. D
