Dr Pooley treated me in 2012 having contracted Strep A in my womb two days after the birth of my son.
It ended up with an emergency operation and 6 days in ITU on life support.
To this day I remember clearly how confident I felt having Dr Pooley and his colleagues treat me. Thanks to them I’m today enjoying life with two beautiful children and my husband. It could easily have been a completely different outcome.

Mr Pooley is a lovely, caring and experienced doctor to genuinely collaborates. He is also supported by an excellent team of nurses and his Secretary, Yvonne, is second to none.
This team has consistently maintained its professionalism and expertise despite the covid epidemic.

After suffering for many years with pain and heavy menstrual bleeding, Mr Pooley made a new life possible for me and words cannot express how grateful I am. He genuinely and deeply cares for his patients, he is very positive and is also a great listener and easy to talk to. My advice to anyone suffering from fibroids, no matter how large or small, no matter how dire or benign, is to speak to Mr Pooley before you make another decision about your health. I encourage every woman to take the time to do the research, don’t rush into any too-good-to-be-true remedies, trust your instincts and find a surgeon who is awarded, respected and the most qualified in their field. I highly recommend Mr Pooley as not only an excellent surgeon but also a caring guide through a difficult process.

Simply the best! He delivered my son after an emergency caesarian I could not have been in better hands. I was rushed in at 8 months and petrified, but I knew it would all be ok and it was. My son will be 14 in April and I still have not forgot his kindness and support after my son was born.

Mr Pooley was my obstetrician for both my children and the care and attention shown really was second to none.
He recently reviewed my teenage daughter and once again I cannot speak more highly of him. He was so kind to my daughter and took the time to explain her problem and the potential treatments available to her. What I particularly liked was the fact that although a minor he spoke and listened carefully to my daughter, whilst still acknowledging me as a parent.
I found him to be a very competent, professional and genuinely caring doctor and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
