Mr Gikas provided me with a clear and precise understanding of what operation needed to be done, how it was to be done, and of the post treatment care consequences and arrangements . He did this in a friendly and professional manner which enabled me to easily have every confidence in him. He then delivered against everything he set out. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Mr Gikas is an outstanding doctor. I have had three surgeries under Mr Gikas and each time he approachable, caring, empathetic and a good communicator. He is not in the least arrogant which I find so charming because he is an amazing surgeon.

Mr Gikas is an excellent surgeon delivering high quality orthopaedic care with a strong focus on shared decision making and optimising the clinical outcomes for patients.
I presented as a potentially complex case and he worked with me on a clinical plan to give me the best chance to achieve a great outcome. This meant after six months of working together he successfully undertook bilateral anterior hip replacement in a single procedure.
He has strong focus on patient care and involvement and maintains a strong level of communication, even when he can't physically be in the building, and touched base with either me directly or the clinical staff, or both every day of my admission.

I struggled to find the root cause of my condition for about 2 years. It was until I connected with Dr Gikas that I had a path to green. He shows high expertise in his field . His communication skills are impeccable and allows you to understand exactly what is being done in each step. He shows care to the patients and has open communication lines to make sure every question or concern is adressed . Im very happy with the outcome of my surgery and I can recommend him with my eyes closed

I can recommend Dr Gikas as he was the only doctor who was able to clearly identify my problem after 2 years of pain and going through different doctors and clinics. I’m very happy with the outcome of my surgery. Dr Gikas shows care for his patients , and open communication!

Absolute God! No one else would even look at my hip it was so far gone! Mr Gikas not only gave me a new hip but gave me a future. 5 years since had the arthrodesis reversal and full false hip, life changing, thank you.

I was very pleased with the knee replacement procedure and the outcome. Mr Gikas provides a superb service, from initial consultation through to follow up. He was always available to contact at any time to discuss the procedure and my.recovery.
