I was in a pretty rough spot last year and was feeling physically and mentally really low. I had an appointment with Dr Simon who showed me great attentiveness, kindness and care in diagnosing me, following up with my medical treatment and also checking in with me often to see how I was doing. I would definitely recommend Dr Simon as he helped me so much and I am extremely grateful for all his efforts.

Dr Simon Hodes is incredibly informative, helpful and supportive.
I spoke to Dr Hodes when I was going through a very tough time with my mental health and was provided with excellent support during this period. I was also very impressed by the check in text/calls and felt really cared for.
Recently (with a separate issue) I spoke to Dr Hodes who was again very helpful, providing me with reassuring information as well as further resources on the subject.
I really appreciate all the help Dr Hodes has given me and would highly recommend to other patients.

Dr. Simon Hodes is an outstanding GP who truly cares about his patients. I have always found him to be an excellent listener who takes the time to address all of my concerns. He is happy to answer any questions that I have, and he goes out of his way to make sure that I feel heard and understood. I highly recommend him to anyone in search of a caring and exceptional GP.

I actively sought to find Dr Hodes at The Cleveland Clinic. He was my GP for many years at our local practice and as soon as I knew that I needed a top GP it made sense to find Dr Hodes. I paid myself to see him and I would pay again just to have that total reassurance and comprehensive care that Dr Hodes provides and always has done. He is incredibly thorough, considered, realistic and takes time to understand your context and perspective. He has never looked for a ‘quick fix’ and will work hard to ensure that you have exactly what you need to get better. His warmth and good humour make seeing the doctor very positive experience!

Dr Simon Hodes has been the best doctor I’ve ever had. He listens and understands and answers all your worries and concerns, the advice has been second to none. I could not have got through my personal health situations without his trusted guidance, always given in a simple and honest way. This is a doctor you can always count on and trust in every way. I’ve had a wonderful relationship that has helped me in so many ways.

Bridgewater Surgeries has always been a place of great medical care to me and my husband . We have been seen promptly and the medical team has always given us amazing emergency treatment and advice over many years. Dr. Simon Hodes has been our very caring doctor and always gave comfort and strength in an extremely professional manner to me and my husband and we will miss him so much. Doctor Hodes has been our family GP for 20 years. He has seen us through tough times with my Mums illness but was responsible, in my opinion, for saving her life by taking prompt and decisive action during her illness. Beyond this he has supported me personally through his understanding of me and my recent diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. We had daily calls in the early stages where he provided excellent support in a calm and reassuring way that built my confidence and allowed me to cope. His further suggestions of diet changes and medication changes mean that I am now drug free and in complete remission with blood levels all under control. Thanks to his knowledge and his caring attitude throughout. I have complete confidence and trust in him and have have talked to him on a number of occasions when I needed guidance and support. He is a credit to his profession, he goes above and beyond regularly and I would highly recommend him as a GP and more than that, someone who actually cares.
