Today, I was told by my surgeon, Mr Vanash Patel that the colorectal surgery he had carried out to remove a malignant tumour had been wholly successful and that I would not be in need of further chemotherapy. I am and shall always be profoundly grateful for his expertise which has effectively saved my life. Endearingly, when I said as much to him today, he observed that it had been a team effort and truly many other kind, compassionate people have been involved in my care.Huge thanks to all.
But to Mr Vanash Patel ( it should really be spelled Vanish ) thank you for your gentleness, calm manner, good humour and pioneering skills.

procedure from the start was excellent
clear explanation of what was to be done & possible outcomes
from being scanned & investigations carried out to being operated on the
procedure was quick , on time & without delay
Mr Patel my consultant was superb in all aspects especially the surgery
the team that worked with him were equally great , very professional & attentive

had my first consultation meeting with vanash on 7th oct.
prompt diagnostics were made.
further tests were arranged urgently, leading to surgery on 15th oct.
met vanash again on 5th, nov for post surgery review.
surgery has been successful, recovering now and gradually getting back to normal activities.
vanash and his supporting team has been thoroughly diligent and provided excellent medical and patient care to me.
this is much appreciated.

Dear Mr Vanash Patel,
I would like to thank you an your team for saving my life. I am so grateful to you and your team for your care from consultants to doctors and nursing staff! Could not have asked for better care than what was received. Once again, thank you Miss Antoniette Jackson.
Only problem was my roon wasnt clean the bathroom had flies in there, the bins were not emptied daily and the cleaners used the same cloth for everything!

Mr Patel is an outstanding Doctor of the highest calibre. From our first meeting he installed me with confidence. He has a rare ability in being able to deliver difficult and complex information in a calm and easy to understand manner. Everything was carefully explained, with all possible outcomes. He took time to check my understanding and we discussed my individual situation and the optimum pathway through it. The procedure was completed quickly and effeciently. I await my follow up procedure, confident in the outcome! Thank you so much.

You were extremely friendly, kind and took the time to explain what was happening and most importantly to me and my family, you listened.

Outstanding care! During being with Mr. Patel, I felt safe, confident and well supported - leading to the operation to be an all clear success.
