Mr Michael Magro is a leading consultant gynaecologist based in East London, who specialises in all aspects of gynaecology including fibroids, endometriosis, heavy periods, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and menopause.

Mr Magro is highly skilled and has a special interest in complex laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. He has a MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist, where he completed advanced training in benign abdominal surgery (open and laparoscopic) and advanced labour ward practice. Mr Magro also has a first-class (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary University of London and has additional qualifications in Leadership in Healthcare, obtaining a PGCert(Darzi) with Distinction from London Southbank University.

I was very impressed with Mr Magro’s expertise and patient care. He was always very friendly and professional, taking time to answer all my questions, discuss options and explain things in detail. Despite the intimate nature of the procedure, I was very much made to feel at ease throughout. The surgery (laparoscopic hysterectomy) went well, and I felt in safe hands and very well looked after throughout the entire process.
