Mr Palanisamy (Pal) Ramesh is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in London, specialising in foot and ankle surgery.
In addition to his NHS work at Kingston Hospital, he privately practises at the New Victoria Hospital in Kingston, focusing on all foot and ankle disorders, ankle arthroscopy and sports injuries related to the foot and ankle.
Mr Ramesh undertook his advanced surgical training with the South East Thames region, including at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, and completed a fellowship at hospitals in Preston and Chorley in Lancashire. He was added to the specialist register for orthopaedic surgery in 2005.
Furthermore, Mr Ramesh received the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society’s (AOFAS) international travelling fellowship in 2007. In 2006, he was awarded the DePuy traveling fellowship. He went on to visit and train with several foot and ankle surgeons across North America, in cities such as New York, Minnesota and Boston.
