Dr Tapesh Pakrashi is a leading consultant cardiologist based in London, whose areas of expertise include heart failure, valvular diseases and coronary artery disease alongside cardiac imaging, arrhythmias and palpitations. He privately practises at New Victoria Hospital and his NHS base is Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
His sub-specialties encompass a broad range of cardiological services, including ECG (24 Hours), echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and CT coronary angiography. His proficiency extends to more complex cases like atherosclerosis, bradycardia, heart attacks, tachycardia, atrial fibrillation and cardiomyopathy. He is also skilled in diagnosing and treating chest pain and high blood pressure.
A graduate of the University of Oxford, Dr Pakrashi earned his BM BCh in 1999, following his MA in 1996. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and is committed to the advancement of cardiology through both clinical practice and education.
