Professor Amtul Razzaq Carmichael is a highly-regarded consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon based in Birmingham and Derby, who specialises in inflammatory breast cancer, breast cancer and oncoplastic and reconstructive breast cancer surgery. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS), has had her work published in well-respected journals including The Lancet and is an active member of various professional organisations. These include the British Association of Surgical Oncology (BASO ~ ACS), the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) and the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME).
