Mr Andrew James is an experienced Consultant Spinal Surgeon based in Milton Keynes. Mr James has specialist expertise in the treatment of a range of spinal conditions including lower back pain, sciatica, disc degeneration and spinal stenosis, using a range of open and minimally-invasive techniques. He has regular outpatient clinics and operating sessions in Milton Keynes.
Mr James was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at Milton Keynes University Hospital and Stoke Mandeville Hospital in 2015 following his Fellowships in Leeds and New York. Previously he completed the Oxford Regional Orthopaedic Training Programme, obtaining his Intercollegiate Examinations (FRCS) in 2010.
After obtaining his medical degree from the University of London in 1998, Mr James undertook basic surgical training in Northampton. He spent a year in New York having obtained an AO Fellowship to train in spinal surgery at the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical College.
