Dr Anita Weerakoon is a highly respected consultant rheumatologist based in Ipswich and London. She is renowned for her expertise in spondyloarthritis as well as inflammatory, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis. She also specialises in the management of fibromyalgia, osteoporosis and gout.
Dr Weerakoon qualified in medicine in 1993. A follow up appointment to discuss my ongoing treatment for Arthritis Dr Weerakoon is caring , friendly , a good listener and gave me a good hour’s session . I felt reassured and heard which isn’t always possible when some NHS appointments are so short
