Originally from Berlin, Germany, Mr Ulbricht graduated from medical school there before relocating to the UK in 1995. He completed his neurosurgical training in London and has served as a consultant neurosurgeon since 2006.
Since 2007, Mr Ulbricht has focused exclusively on spinal surgery, offering a broad spectrum of care that ranges from treating patients with simple back and neck pain to performing complex spinal surgeries. He’s one of the best, and you want the best when they are playing with your spinal cord. Wheelchairs are best avoided.

A lovely man. Took lots of time explaining the problem clearly and going over the options. Very reassuring on the day of my operation and came to see me straight after to feedback how it went. Obviously an excellent surgeon but the care he showed was exceptional. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
