Miss Fiona Middleton is a highly regarded consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in Dupuytren's contracture, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, wrist arthroscopy, wrist surgery, and hand tendonitis. She currently practises at the New Victoria Hospital

Miss Middleton earned her degree from Oriel College, Oxford, followed by clinical training at St. George’s Hospital in London. She then notably went on to teach anatomy at Cambridge University before advancing her orthopaedic training in London and the South West Thames region. She completed a fellowship in knee surgery at the Wakefield Orthopaedic Centre in Adelaide, Australia, and further specialised in hand surgery through fellowship training at St. George’s Hospital.

Since 2009, Miss Middleton has served as an NHS consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at Kingston Hospital, where she performs surgeries at both Kingston Hospital and the Elective Orthopaedic Centre (EOC) in Epsom. As the orthopaedic lead for the National Hip Fracture Database at Kingston, she has played a key role in reducing the waiting time for fracture patients and shortening their hospital stays.

Miss Middleton has presented her work at national and international conferences and remains actively involved in training and mentoring specialist registrars. Additionally, she is committed to supporting and mentoring women pursuing careers in surgery.
