Dr James Briggs is a renowned consultant interventional and diagnostic radiologist who specialises in fibroid embolisation, prostate artery embolisation, image-guided biopsies, ultrasound scanning, and Coronary CT. He currently practises at the Princess Grace Hospital, and at the Spire Dunedin Hospital.
Dr Briggs was awarded a first class degree in physics from University College London, followed by medical school, qualifying in 2007. Thanks to his specialist training in Oxford, Dr Briggs has gained more than 10 years’ experience practicing interventional radiology, with a special focus on the field of embolisation therapy.
Dr Briggs has a thriving diagnostic radiology practice, specialising in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging for conditions such as coronary artery disease, lung cancer, and interstitial lung disease. Dr Briggs, who has published extensively across a host of different well-established publications, is a member of the British Society of Interventional Radiology, the European Society of Interventional Radiology, the British Society of Cardiac Imaging, and the European Society of Thoracic Imaging.
