Dr Kathrin Aprile von Hohenstaufen Puoti is a renowned haematologist, with extensive experience in the field of haematology. Her areas of expertise include blood diseases, leukaemia, anaemia, hodgkin's lymphoma and clotting disorders.
Dr von Hohenstaufen Puoti graduated with an MD, MBBS in in Milan in 2004, subsequently specialising in haematology at the Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico (Maggiore Policlinico Hospital) in Milan in 2009, obtaining top marks and honours. After working as a haematologist specialist at the same hospital, focusing primarily on chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and research, Dr von Hohenstaufen Puoti received a fellowship from the European School of Oncology.
She spent 4 years at the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland, working in the lymphoma unit for a year and then in the haematology department, taking on the role of senior haematologist.
