Miss Linda Farahani is a distinguished consultant gynaecologist and specialist in reproductive medicine based in London. Her areas of expertise include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, miscarriage, female fertility, infertility, egg freezing, and fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF). She is highly proficient in laparoscopic surgery as well.
Miss Farahani consults privately at The Portland Hospital, Westminster Women’s Clinic, and Lister Fertility Clinic. She is the co-founder of this is womanhood, an initiative founded to advocate for women’s health and wellbeing, and she also serves as ambassador for the Endometriosis Foundation.
With over 20 years’ experience, Miss Farahani originally qualified from Imperial College London, obtaining an MBBS and an intercalated Bachelor of Science degree. She holds esteemed membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from The Open University in 2012.
Notably, Miss Farahani’s advanced training includes a three-year senior fellowship in IVF and reproductive medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and an 18-month senior fellowship in early pregnancy and gynaecology scanning at King’s College Hospital, one of the leading centres for gynaecological ultrasound in the UK.
A leader in her specialty, Miss Farahani is a trainer for the British Fertility Society’s pelvic ultrasound module and has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals. Her work has been presented at prestigious conferences and she has also spoken at the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Endometriosis.
