Dr Matea Deliu is leading portfolio GP (general practitioner) based in London. Her areas of expertise include women’s health, respiratory diseases (especially asthma and allergies), sports medicine, health screening, geriatric medicine, and acute home visits, where she provides urgent care in home settings.

Dr Deliu practises privately at Northway Clinic, providing tailored, patient-centered care, and is happy to see patients of all ages.

Notably, she is the Associate Medical Director at One Health Lewisham and the Clinical Lead for the Primary Care Digital Delivery at NHS South East London Integrated Care System. Her expertise spans urgent care, acute home-based management, and community services, with special interests in respiratory medicine (especially asthma and allergies), accredited minor surgery, frail and elderly care, sports and lifestyle medicine, and women's health.

Her work focuses on leveraging digital tools to enhance patient care, streamline clinical workflows, and optimise service delivery within primary and community care. By collaborating with digital change managers, she has been actively involved in identifying and implementing digital interventions to drive efficiency and improve patient outcomes. 

Her background as a former professional cyclist and Croatian National Road Champion informs her special interest in sports and lifestyle medicine, allowing her to integrate exercise, nutrition, and preventive strategies into patient care. This holistic approach supports patients in achieving sustainable health and wellbeing. 

Beyond her clinical and digital health work, Dr Deliu has contributed to public health initiatives, such as asthma management in schools and diabetes prevention programs. Her portfolio career enables her to combine hands-on patient care with innovative approaches to healthcare delivery, ensuring comprehensive, patient-centred management across a variety of settings. 

Dr Deliu offers acute home visits within south east London, south west London, central London, and between zones one to three of east London. These can be arranged separately after an initial consultation.
